Hawaiian dance skirt sewing pattern
Sewing pattern for making a Pau skirt. The Pau skirt originates from the Hawaiian "Hula" dance. It is a long, flowing skirt. The waist is high and elasticated around the entire stomach area. The fabric to be used should be medium weight (more details in the "Additional Information" tab). The pattern also includes instructions to sew a carrying case for the skirt, which is useful to prevent wrinkling.
